Steve holds an Economics degree from Northwestern University (with certifications from Harvard, Wharton, MIT, and Berkeley spanning negotiation, marketing, and Bitcoin). He brings over 25 years of experience launching ventures in technology, real estate, and finance. In the 1990s, he worked for, and collaborated with industry leaders such as WorldCom, AT&T, Qualcomm, and Google, spearheading global fiber optic network deployments critical to the internet’s expansion. After the 2000 dot-com crash, he launched Veracom Networks, an independent telco sold profitably to National ComTel, and Crest Estates, LLC, a real estate firm focused on luxury auction transactions. He then leveraged that experience to create SURE 6S Corp aka SURE Real Estate, a brokerage integrating traditional sales, high-stakes auctions, fix-and-flip projects, and mortgage financing. Across his career Steve has generated over $2 billion in sales and revenue as a small business founder and sales strategist. In 2020, he began an intense study of Bitcoin, recognizing its transformational potential, which led to co-founding Orange Bridge with Dean Welsh in 2022, a disruptive and transformational venture bridging real estate with Bitcoin.

Transitioning into real estate, Dean co-founded a thriving investment company that renovated and sold over 400 properties across seven U.S. states, generating significant returns and establishing a scalable model for growth. In 2020, inspired by Bitcoin’s transformative potential, he partnered with Steve Uhlir to launch Orange Bridge—a pioneering venture bridging traditional asset markets with the digital economy. Chris Garmon - Partner
Chris brings over 20 years of expertise in product development, operational leadership, and project management to Orange Bridge. His deep background in real estate and mortgage finance is complemented by CAPM (PMI) and CSM (Scrum Alliance) Project Management certifications. Throughout his career, he has led major initiatives such as Caliber Home Loans’ Portfolio Smart Start—a custom, company-wide risk management platform; built Live Well Financial’s Forward Lending Division; and guided a top-10 national branch to $734 million in mortgage production. Discovering Bitcoin in 2013 in San Francisco, he anticipated its disruptive potential, intensifying his focus by 2020 to merge it with his real estate expertise—targeting inefficiencies in traditional lending and transactions. In 2022, he joined Orange Bridge as a Partner, spearheading product development, marketing, and compliance to blend legacy finance with Bitcoin’s cutting-edge potential.
