Steve’s experience in corporate America during the 90’s involved collaborating with prominent telecom and tech giants, including AT&T, Qualcomm, and Google. He played a pivotal role in establishing global fiber optic infrastructures, essential during the internet’s early stages. Following the dot-com bubble’s burst in 2000, Steve founded Veracom Networks and Crest Estates, LLC. He further expanded into residential real estate, establishing SURE Real Estate brokerage and a successful luxury auction platform. These endeavors, over his 25-year real estate career, accumulated over $2B in sales revenue. By 2015, Steve began exploring Bitcoin, and the events of 2020 made him delve deeper into its potential to remedy the inherent flaws of the existing fiat financial system. Thousands of hours of research led to the creation of a Bitcoin consultancy, which later evolved to become Orange Bridge in 2022, co-founded with Dean Welsh, merging the worlds of real estate and Bitcoin.

Dean has a diverse and accomplished background in financial services and residential real estate, spanning over 25 years. He gained valuable experience excelling at firms like Shearson Lehman and Merrill Lynch. Later, he ventured into real estate, where he co-founded a successful real estate investment company that renovated and sold over 400 homes across seven U.S. states. The transformative events of 2020 ignited Dean’s interest in Bitcoin, leading to a partnership with Steve Uhlir. Their collaboration resulted in the formation of Orange Bridge, aiming to connect the physical world of assets with Bitcoin. As a Founding Partner of Orange Bridge, Dean is committed to exploring uncharted territories, pushing boundaries, and creating new opportunities for clients, investors, and real estate professionals.
Chris Garmon - Partner
Chris embarked on his residential real estate and financial services journey at an early age, securing his real estate license at 19 years old. Recognizing the persistent mortgage financing challenges clients faced, he transitioned to residential finance to create solutions that provided a more seamless integration between the real estate and finance industries. Over the following 22 years, Chris held diverse roles in sales, divisional management, and product development for several elite US mortgage lenders. Obtaining CAPM and CSM Project Management certifications underscores his commitment to devising client and institution-centric solutions. Introduced to Bitcoin in 2013 while living in San Francisco, the 2020 events amplified his understanding of its potential. Partnering alongside Steve and Dean, Chris focuses on product development and creating educational resources that provide solutions to integrate Bitcoin into the real estate sector.
